So my sister is a little crazy. She thinks like her tail was pulled out of its socket because she likes to chase her tale and bite on it...that is Gracie and not my sister :) I have never heard of a dog pulling it's tail out of her socket...that is crazy stuff!! I have called the vet and they think it is highly unlikely but we can bring her in if we think that it is necessary.
