I do give my dog and egg every once in a while and your really can notice a difference with her coat. It does make it look very shiny and healthier. I don't give her eggs all the time bug sometimes if I am making an egg for myself I will scramble her up and egg...hold the butter, bacon and toast though :) My mom use to give her dog milk once in a while...I don't know about that though.
