Mornings with Gracie is actually kind of sweet. Every morning my alarm goes off at 5:30am, of course I don't get up, but Gracie knows it is inevitable that eventually I will wake up and get out of bed. When my second alarm goes off about 6:10am, she knows I will get up, so she usually drapes herself over me and almost holds me there. Of course it is another act of dominance, but I choose to see it as affection, because she is so sweet!
Anyway, I do get up about 20 minutes later and she's ok with that, because that is when she goes out and gets to "greet" everyone else in the morning! Oh yes, with her jumping, pawing, barking and just being her Gracie self!
