Cats and Babies

My cousin has a 4 month old baby and she has a cat...a nasty little cat that while it is declawed is still a vicious creature. This cat gets into everything and just is not a nice cat and is always in the babies face. It will actually jump in the crip which is just not good at all for so many reasons. I would not want a cat to be jumping in my babies crib - they could be sufficated, or biten for starters. Personally, I think that if you h ave pets with and around babies they really should not be around them in such close quarters.
