Dog Fur Slivers

It is really weird and I don't know if this has ever happened to other people but have you ever felt something in your foot like a sliver and it really hurts. However, when you go to look at your foot it is a single dog fur that was in your foot. And I don't have a dog that has really course hair. I have always noticed this having dogs. It doesn't happen all the time but every once in a while this has happened...it is very strange.
